Computer Networking at Collin

Collin College's Computer Networking program prepares graduates to design and install secure network systems based on customer requirements, monitor and maintain network traffic and security, and maintain network hardware and software. Courses and hands-on labs will prepare you for a variety of Cisco, CompTIA, VMware, Linux and Python certification examinations. The Computer Networking program offers two study tracks: Infrastructure and Integrated Systems.

The Computer Networking - Infrastructure track prepares graduates to design and install secure network systems with a focus on managing network devices. Courses and hands-on labs in this track specifically prepare students for the CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco DEVNET Associate (DEVNET), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and Python certification examinations.

The Computer Networking - Integrated Systems track prepares graduates to design and secure network systems with a focus on managing servers. Courses and hands-on labs in this track prepare students for the CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco DEVNET Associate (DEVNET), Red Hat Linux (RH124), Python, and VMware certification examinations.
